Meet Fluffie

Fluffie has been living in our garden for nineteen months now. She arrived one day out of the blue and never left. She is best buddies with our dog, together they regularly chill. Apparently she feels safe with us and likes to stay. She eats from our plants and drinks water from the dog drinking bowl or from the drip system. Sometimes the neighbors' dogs are after her, and she has to sprint through the garden, but so far she has always been able to escape.

In the meantime, she has become the subject of my art. The different postures on which she is posing in the garden, I can easily capture and further process with different materials. For nineteen months I have been fascinated by Fluffie and surprised every time she shows herself. Never knew that a rabbit can take on so many different poses, where she often makes a very relaxed impression. The simplicity of her life in the garden and the things she experiences, jumping into the tall grass, being alert on the lookout or seeking protection from our dog, inspires me for stories and images. This time Fluffie inspired me with her chillness, to write the words: “take your time and everything is oke already”. So in short, don’t be surprised, when you will see her more often on this website.
